Vanesa Sandoval oversees WaterEquity’s investments in Latin America and the Caribbean, focusing on partnership development, deal structuring, and due diligence. She brings 15+ years of experience in impact investing, financial inclusion, and microfinance to this role.
Prior to joining WaterEquity, Vanesa served as a Portfolio Director with Global Partnerships, where she cultivated and managed the portfolio for several countries in Central and South America. Prior to Global Partnerships, Vanesa held management positions with a Triodos-funded microfinance development program for Central America and a Nicaraguan microfinance institution.
Vanesa received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Nicaragua. She also holds postgraduate certifications from Central American Institute of Business Administration (INCAE), Thomas More University, and the Central American University (UCA).
