Amy Bell manages strategic investments in the Business Development team at Whole Foods Market, which employs a range of investment tools to further the company’s mission to nourish people and the planet. Prior to joining Whole Foods, she was part of senior management of Tideline, a consulting firm that provides tailored advice to clients developing impact investing strategies, products, and solutions. She is also the former Head of Principal Investments for J.P. Morgan’s Sustainable Finance business unit, where she managed the group’s proprietary portfolio, which targeted investments that could achieve a reasonable rate of return while positively impacting low-income and excluded populations around the world. Representative transactions include the Accion Frontier Inclusion Fund, Bridges Social Entrepreneurs Fund, EcoEnterprises Fund, Elevar Equity, Global Health Investment Fund, IGNIA, LeapFrog Financial Inclusion Fund and Novastar Ventures.

Amy started with J.P. Morgan in its Investment Bank, as part of the Mergers and Acquisitions and Consumer/Retail Coverage groups. In addition, she worked in Financial Advisory Services for Deloitte where she specialized in forensic accounting.

Amy holds a Bachelors of Business Administration and Masters in Professional Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin.
