Casey Pessetto is responsible for WaterEquity’s fund-level administration and treasury functions, including investor subscriptions, redemptions, and distributions and downstream capital deployment. She brings 10+ years of experience in nonprofit finance across international accounting and education fields.
Prior to joining WaterEquity, Casey was the Finance Lead for Fundraising & Revenue Management at Water.org. Her work at Water.org spanned both finance and operations, including revenue forecasting, cash flow modeling, grant management, and financial reporting. . While at Water.org, Casey also supported the initial WaterEquity fund activity. Prior to Water.org, she performed financial analysis and grant accounting in the first all-charter school district in New Orleans.
Casey received her Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in Financial Reporting & Assurance and holds a Master of Professional Accounting from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Missouri.
