Casey Pessetto is responsible for WaterEquity’s fund-level accounting, including treasury, audit, tax, and financial reporting. She brings 10 years of experience in nonprofit finance across international accounting and education fields.
Prior to joining WaterEquity, Casey was the Finance Lead for Fundraising & Revenue Management at Water.org. Her work at Water.org spanned both finance and operations, including revenue forecasting, cash flow modeling, grant management, capacity building, international reconciliations, and month-end close. While at Water.org, Casey also supported the initial WaterEquity fund activity. Prior to Water.org, she performed financial analysis and grant accounting in the first all-charter school district in New Orleans.
Casey received her Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in Financial Reporting & Assurance and holds a Master of Professional Accounting from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Missouri.
