Jen McBrayer is responsible for day-to-day operations of WaterEquity’s Human Resources program, including workplace policies, onboarding, insurance and other benefits, training, performance review, and identifying innovative ways to support WaterEquity’s staff. She brings 20+ years of diverse experience in critical thinking and intense multi-tasking skills from her previous experience in law enforcement.

Prior to joining WaterEquity, Jen worked as an Emergency Dispatcher (police and fire) where she was responsible for the safety and well-being of her fellow officers and firefighters, as well as members of the community. She managed the Property and Evidence Unit for the department where she was instrumental in designing and implementing organizational processes.  During her tenure, Jen received two meritorious service awards, Civilian of the Year Award, and a Lifesaving Award.

Jen received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Avila University and holds a Master’s in Public Administration with a Graduate Certificate in Project Management from Columbia Southern University.
