A mission-related investment is a form of impact investing that uses money paid by investors to help accomplish a particular task or charitable endeavor. The investments work in the same way as traditional models, returning money to investors over time, but instead of the funds going towards the growth of a company, they contribute to the completion of a project or the growth of a community in need of economic or social assistance.
